Welcome to the Dunlap church of Christ. On behalf of the congregation here, the elders would like to say we are so proud you have come our way. Consider yourself our honored guest. The Dunlap church of Christ is a warm and benevolent congregation, interested in the souls of our fellow man, whether in our neighborhood or the most remote part of the world. We are committed to the teaching and practice of the Holy Scriptures as they pertain to us today.
What to Expect
During our worship to God you will notice that we do everything by the authority of God's word. When reading from the pulpit or teaching, we will use the King James, New King James, or the American Standard versions only. Also we will sing to God as the scriptures teach us from the heart using only our voices (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19). We will pray to God as Philippians 4:6 tells us. We will give back to the Lord as he has blessed us beyond measure (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). We will also remember our Lord Jesus Christ by partaking of the Lord's Supper. Christ instituted the Lord's Supper with his disciples in Matthew 26:26-29 by blessing the unleavened bread in remembrance of his body and partaking of the fruit of the vine which is used as a memorial of Christ's blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for the sins of the world.
